OSP  produces  new and contemporary theatre for a variety of audiences.

2009    ‘ Don’t Blame it on the Wolf

The premiere of this new musical theatre for  schools and family audiences took place on the 16th and 17th October  2009  at the Library Theatre, Birmingham.  The production was the result of a research and development grant by Arts Council England and the National Lottery.

We are planning to do a tour (if we secure funding) in the Autumn of 2011.

2003  & 2008 ‘The Shagaround’ by Maggie Nevill

We produced the Midlands premiere of this tale of the loves and lives of five friends out on New Years Eve.  Performed at the Midlands Arts Centre, both runs were a sell out.

2003 cast:  Sarah Watts, Juliet Fry, Gillian Twaite, Lorraine Coady, Julie Fewins, Jesse Inman, Deborah Hull,Karen Pearson & Anthony Miles.

2004    ‘The Dreamweavers Child’ by Campbell Perry

This magical story of a young boy called Arlo who goes on a journey to find his mother was written and produced by Campbell Perry of ‘Creativity Matters’  (with support from the Arts Council and Warwickshire  Arts Action Zone).

It toured Coventry and Warwickshire Schools and finished with two performances at Birmingham Repretory Theatre

2005    ‘ Consequences’ (devised by the company)

This short performance piece was developed as part of the Pilot Nights initiative, set up to give a platform for new work.  It explored the relationship between different artistic movements through the eyes of 3 of their leading proponents: Mary Shelley, Andre Breton and Henrik Ibson as they all competed to have a musical made of their lives.
